OK, so he's not a border terrier, but he sure is cute....and he thinks he's a border terrier. We lost our beloved golden retriever, Buck, two years ago, and the family just didn't feel complete without its flash of gold. It was inevitable that another golden would someday join the pack, so when we literally stumbled into Phoenix's litter at a dog show, it seemed like fate. His predecessor, Buck, left extra large footprints to fill, but we think Phoenix is up to the job. Phoenix is maturing into a beautiful young dog and has begun to venture into the show ring. In addition, he has begun obedience training and seems to enjoy the challenge. He learns very quickly and is eager to please, so we plan to show him in that venue as well as conformation.
Obviously, he is not just a pretty face!
